TGF (Hong Kong) Ltd. consolidates bills of lading under single brand
Hong Kong - August 1, 2011; Toll Global Forwarding (TGF), the Asian regions leading provider of integrated logistics solutions and freight forwarding services, today announced the release of their new Toll Global Forwarding (Hong Kong) Ltd. bill of lading, effective September 1, 2011.
The issuance of this new bill of lading comes after TGF’s recent acquisition of other freight forwarding companies, such as Summit Logistics International, Genesis Forwarding and Baltrans. Ultimately, the company would like to operate under a single brand, and the issuance of a uniform and consistent international bill of lading is a big step in that direction. The new bill of lading will be distributed to all of TGF’s owned offices and agents, and they will begin to be issued on September 1, 2011.
In addition to the hard copy of the bill of lading, the EDI version of the new bill of lading will also be used throughout the TGF worldwide network. For stations and branches where EDI is not yet deployed, TGF will make the necessary updates to their systems to ensure they are issuing the correct new bill of lading.
Toll Global Forwarding (Hong Kong) Ltd. is a bonded and registered as a foreign NVOCC with the Federal Maritime Commission and will operate under the SCAC code: TGFH.
Toll Global Forwarding (Americas) Inc. will be the U.S.A. licensed NVOCC and will act as the receiving agent in the U.S.A. on behalf of TGF (Hong Kong) Ltd.
